Yule: A Gathering of Folklore, Intention & Candle Magic

About this event

As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer, we are invited to slow down, turn inward, and honor the sacred stillness of winter. Join us for a cozy, heart-centered Yule gathering as we explore the magic and folklore of the midwinter season, connect with our inner wisdom, and celebrate the gradual return of light.

Through guided meditation, intentional spellwork, and hands-on seasonal craft, we’ll create our own Yule logs to serve as personal altar pieces and reminders of the intentions we wish to nurture throughout the winter.Together, we’ll weave our intentions into our logs using foraged greenery, seasonal botanicals, and meaningful symbols. We’ll then gather in community for a candle-lighting ceremony, honoring the darkness that holds us, the intentions growing within us, and the light we carry into the season ahead.

This gathering is an invitation to rest, reconnect, create, and embrace the gentle magic of winter.

Our Gathering Will Include:

• Cozy storytelling and folklore surrounding Yule and midwinter traditions

• A guided meditation into the stillness of winter

• Winter intention setting and gentle spellwork

• Hands-on Yule log decorating with foraged greenery, herbs, and seasonal materials

• A communal candle-lighting ceremony to honor our intentions and welcome the returning light

• Time for connection, reflection, and community

Come with a journal and any winter items you’d like to adorn your log with, and join us in honoring the sacred rhythms of the season.
